Greenpeace Bashes Brands on Pollution

July 2011 – Greenpeace has filmed its own version of a Nike commercial to persuade Adidas and Nike to disassociate themselves from textile companies in China that are releasing toxic chemicals into the water. Their “Detox” campaign is targeting sporting goods and clothing producers to enact more sustainable policies and make the data about their efforts more transparent.
