It’s time to ReThink! Hong Kong’s best attended and most ambitious business event for sustainable development will be held on 5-6 October at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
ReThink 2021, co-organised by BEC, has been designed specifically for sustainability practitioners, business leaders and those responsible for researching and resourcing new sustainable strategies.
The annual ecosystem event unites stakeholders, demonstrating the business case and strategies for change against a backdrop of innovation and the sustainable solutions needed to achieve a circular economy and strive for a carbon-neutral Hong Kong by 2050.
The conference programme has been expanded across multiple theatres, workshops and stages; hosting a dynamic agenda structured by topic and function, addressing the challenges and opportunities for corporates, enterprise businesses and SMEs.

Catch CWR in the event! CWR’s Director Debra Tan will be moderating a session on Hong Kong’s decarbonisation pathway & is on the panel to discuss rising sea levels and extreme weather events inducing pertinent risks on our economy and human life.

Debra will moderate a panel discussion on How could Hong Kong achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and what the top listed companies are doing to fast-track decarbonisation. Speakers on the panel include Senior Director – Planning & Development, CLP Power Hong Kong, Group Head of Sustainability, John Swire & Sons (H.K.) and Executive Director, Cornerstone Technologies
Panel discussion: Risk Mitigation: Rising Ocean Levels & an Unhealthy Ocean (12:20-13:00)
CWR’s Tan will be on this panel with the Manager of Business and Strategy, Intensel, Professor & Director, Institute of Environment of The Chinese University of Hong Kong moderated by Editorial Director, The Economist Group. They will be discussing what is the state of information on sea level rise and extreme weather events & how the industry can collaborate to advance infrastructure adaptation and ensure resiliency.
