Dr. Xie Lei
Dr Lei Xie is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is also a Research Associate at School of Sociology and Social Policy, Nottingham University UK. Her research focuses on international cooperation of transbondary waters and transnational environmental movements. Lei Xie is author of Environmental Activism in China (Routledge, 2009); and China’s International Transboundary Rivers: Politics, Security and Diplomacy of Shared Water Resources (with Shaofeng, Jia, Routledge 2017). Her articles also appear on International Environmental Agreement, Politics, Law and Economics, New Political Economy, China Information, and Journal of Contemporary China
