Senior engineer and Director of the Beijing Water Science & Technology Institute, his main research topics include groundwater pollution treatment and control, macro water resources allocation and planning, water resources demonstration and evaluation, society construction and key technology on water-saving and other areas related to water resources. Dr Fandong Zheng is also studying the impact of large scale water recycling on groundwater as well as the managed aquifer recharge solutions.
